Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BYT dated February 18th, 2022 of the Ministry of Health on prices for SARS-CoV-2 testing services

This Circular is to reduce prices for SARS-CoV-2 testing services from February 21st, 2022. The details are provided at the Annex enclosed with this Circular.

Accordingly, the maximum prices for SARS-CoV-2 individual specimen testing are reduced as follows: from VND 109,700 to VND 78,000/ (for rapid antigen test); from VND 186,600 to VND 178, 900 (by automatic or semi-automatic immunoassay machine); from VND 518,400 to VND 501,800 (using Real-time PCR technique).

Notably, the prices for SARS-CoV-2 testing services provided for in this Circular shall be only applied at state-owned health facilities.

This Circular takes effect from February 21st, 2022 and replaces Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BYT dated November 8th, 2021.
