Because the Covid-19 pandemic continues developing unpredictably, the Prime Minister requests provinces, cities that are undergoing quarantine under Directive No. 16/CT-TTg (as mentioned at Official letter No. 969/TTg-KGVX) to continue implementing quarantine for more 14 days in the spirit of “stay where they are”. Do not let people travel out of their places of residence from July 31st, 2021 to end of social distancing (excluding those permitted to travel).
Restrictions may be lifted gradually in provinces where the pandemic is under control after quarantine. For interprovincial areas, relevant provinces shall reach an agreement and report to the special working group of the Government and Head of National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control before decision.
See more the supplements at Telegraph No. 5255/VPVP-KGVX dated July 31st, 2021. Accordingly, the people are only restricted from leaving their places of residence within the scope of province/city.
