This is the guidance on pilot COVID-19 quarantine for entrants applicable in Quang Ninh province from July 1st, 2021 to July 31st, 2021.
The guidance includes quarantine requirements for entrants through international checkpoints of Vietnam (airports, land borders, port checkpoints), excluding the entry permission and does not apply to entrants on short-term business trips of less than 14 days
Notably, this pilot implementation allows shortening the duration of centralized quarantine from 21 days to 14 days with regard to entrants, even 7 days with regard to those who meet these conditions:
- Fully-vaccinated or fully recovered from COVID-19.
- Having a RT-PCR negative result for SARS-CoV-2 and a positive result for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies on the first day after entry;
This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.
