Circular No. 17/2021/TT-BGDDT dated June 22nd, 2021 of the Ministry of Education and Training on providing for standards and formulation, appraisal and promulgation of training programs of higher education

This Circular provides for new standards for undergraduate programs, masters programs, doctoral programs but it is not applicable to training programs whose degrees are awarded by foreign training institutions, including training programs provided in cooperation with other countries according to regulations on foreign cooperation and investment in education.

This Circular comes into force from August 7th, 2021 and replaces Circular No. 07/2015/TT-BGDDT dated April 16th, 2015.

Training institutions adopting training programs that are formulated according to regulations in Circular No. 07/2015/TT-BGDDT may continue to adopt these programs for cohorts admitted and enrolled before January 1st, 2022.

New training programs shall be provided in compliance with regulations of this Circular from the entry into force of this Circular (August 7th, 2022).
