The General Department of Vietnam Customs assumes that the declaration of shelf life of imported foods (regardless of finished products or materials) on the customs declaration is the basis for determining that the imported goods meet the regulations on food safety under Law on Food safety No. 55/2010/QH12status2 and Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CPstatus2 .

The information about shelf life of goods shall be declared at box "description of goods" on the import declaration.
