Official telegram No. 03/CD-LDTBXH dated May 14th, 2021 of the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs regarding enhancement of management of foreigners working in Vietnam

The Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs requests the People’s Committees of provinces/cities to review all establishments, enterprises that are using foreign workers; to strictly supervise all cases of entry, foreign workers that have registered and worked at the establishments, enterprises. The aforesaid moves are aimed to not miss cases of illegal entry for work in enterprises.

The Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs recommends the People’s Committees of provinces/cities to inspect enterprises that receive, employ workers illegally; to expel foreign workers working in Vietnam without the work permit (in case they are eligible for exemption from the work permit, it is required to have the written certification of exemption from the work permit).

Enterprises using foreign workers shall be inspected in relation to the work of Covid-19 prevention and control as well as the implementation of 5K message (khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations).
