The Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs’ proposal for the 2023 Lunar New Year holiday (the Year of the Cat) and National Day holiday at document No. 4297/LDTBXH-ATLD has been approved by the Government.
Accordingly, Vietnamese people will take seven-day Tet break, from Friday January 20th, 2023 to the end of Thursday January 26th, 2023 (from the 29th of the 12th lunar month to the end of the 5th of the first lunar month).
On the occasion of the National Day (September 2nd), the people will have 4 consecutive days off, from Friday September 1st, 2023 to the end of Monday September 4th, 2023.
Weekly holidays and other state holidays, Tet break shall be carried according to regulations of the Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14.
