This Dispatch provides guidelines on requirements and procedures for child adoption and entry of foreign adoptive parents in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, a foreign adoptive parent must meet these requirements when they enter Vietnam:

- Obtaining the Decision on intercountry adoption of the provincial People’s Committees;

- Receiving the Response Official Dispatch on agreement to let the foreigner enter Vietnam of the Vietnam Immigration Department;

- Complying with requirements for Covid-19 prevention and control upon the entry.

Child adoption and entry procedures of a foreign adoptive parent in the Covid-19 pandemic include 12 steps, specified at Section IV.
