This Circular provides for new regulations on classification, collection, storage, management of health-care wastes, applicable from January 10th, 2022 with regard to healthcare facilities, including medical and pharmaceutical research and testing laboratories.

Notably, according to Article 13 of this Circular, healthcare facilities have to send the annual report on the result of health-care waste management to provincial Department of Health or to the Ministry of Health (for healthcare facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Health).

This Circular takes effect from January 10th, 2022 and replaces Joint Circular No. 58/2015/TTLT-BYT-BTNMTstatus1 dated December 31st, 2015.
