The General Department of Vietnam Customs notes that Decree No. 169/2018/ND-CP only regulates management policy with regard to medical equipment, without regulation on VAT.
VAT policy for imported medical equipment shall be carried out according to clause 8 Article 1 of Circular No. 26/2015/TT-BTC (from August 1st, 2021 it is Circular No. 43/2021/TT-BTC ).
