Dispatch No. 4748/BCT-DTDL dated August 6th, 2021 of the Ministry Industry and Trade regarding reduction in electricity prices for customers affected by the 4th wave of Covid-19

According to the request of the Government at Resolution No. 83/NQ-CP dated July 31st, 2021,the Ministry of Industry and Trade announces the policy on reduction in electricity prices payable by customers affected by the 4th wave of Covid-19 as follows:

- The reduction rate of from 10%-15% is applied to electric bills of customers in provinces and centrally affiliated cities that are implementing the social distancing under Directive No. 16/CT-TTg on July 30th, 2021. In which, 15% reduction on electric bills for customers using up to 200 kWh/month and 10% reduction on electric bills for customers using more than 200 kWh/month.

- Electricity prices will be reduced for 02 months on electric bills of August and September 2021.

Especially, centralized quarantine centers serving COVID-19 control shall be eligible for 100% reduction in electricity prices for 7 months, on electric bills of June to December 2021.
