Foreign representative offices may refer to the following regulations to determine their home ownership in Vietnam and related issues:
- Article 159 of the Law on Housing No. 65/2014/QH13 regulating foreign entities eligible for the home ownership in Vietnam and forms of the home ownership in Vietnam relating to foreign entities
- Point d Clause 2 Article 161 of the Law on Housing No. 65/2014/QH13 , Clause 2 Article 7, Clause 2 Article 77 of Decree No. 99/2015/ND-CP regarding duration of home ownership of foreign organizations in Vietnam and extension of time limit for foreign organizations’ home ownership in Vietnam.
In addition, the Ministry of Construction also says that applicable laws on housing do not regulate the payment of land levy for the extended time limit for foreign organizations’ home ownership.
