The Ministry of Construction provides some notes in relation to handling of construction works (including apartment buildings, public works, production and business establishments, etc.) that fail to meet fire prevention and fighting requirements.

Accordingly, with regard to construction works failing to ensure fire prevention and fighting requirements put into use before the effective date of Law No. 27/2001/QH10status2 , investors, owners of the works are requested to commit to overcoming the shortcomings. In which, it is necessary to consider and refer to additional and enhanced technical solutions on fire prevention and fighting instructed at Document No. 1684/C07-P4 dated July 21st, 2021.

With regard to construction works failing to ensure fire prevention and fighting requirements put into use after the effective date of Law No. 27/2001/QH10status2 , investors, owners of the works are requested to make plans, duration of overcoming to meet technical standards, regulations, regulations of laws on fire prevention and fighting (in which including QCVN 06:2022/BXD on Fire safety of Buildings and Constructions).

With regard to works of which functions are converted, it is required to make adjustments to construction design, fire prevention and fighting design according to of laws on construction, laws on fire prevention and fighting and other relevant laws.
