Official letter No. 1305/TCHQ-GSQL dated April 15th, 2022 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs regarding deployment of regulations at Clause 10 Article 1 of the Government's Decree No. 18/2021/ND-CP

To ensure export processing enterprises (EPEs) to be eligible to enjoy the policy on duty incentives after April 25th, 2022, the General Department of Vietnam Customs urged Customs Departments of provinces and cities to promptly conduct the inspection, certification of the EPEs’ eligibility for customs inspection and control before April 25th, 2022 (if the EPEs have submitted the notification according to Form No. 25 Annex VII of Decree No. 18/2021/ND-CP).

For EPEs that have submitted the notification according to Form No. 25 Annex VII of Decree No. 18/2021/ND-CP but customs offices have inspected and confirmed their failure to satisfy the conditions, to urge them to fulfill the conditions on customs inspection and control before April 25th, 2022.

With regard to EPEs that have yet to submit the notification according to Form No. 25 Annex VII of Decree No. 18/2021/ND-CP, customs offices shall proactively work at the EPEs' head offices to find out reasons and evaluate the ability of the EPEs to satisfy or fail to satisfy the conditions on customs inspection and control before April 25th, 2022.
