This Resolution allows health facilities to use drugs, supplies and biologicals purchased and unused covered by the state budget for COVID-19 prevention and control for medical examination and treatment to avoid wastefulness.
Prices applied to collect patients' payments and transfer to the state budgets with regard to drugs, supplies and biologicals that were reserved for COVID-19 prevention and control and now are transferred for medical examination and treatment shall be determined according to the regulations at Article 2 of this Resolution.
In which, it is required to note that, with regard to drugs, supplies and biologicals used for patients who have health insurance cards, health facilities are only allowed to pay for and collect patients' copayments which equal to the buying prices according to regulations of law on procurement and less than or equal to the prices given by social insurance agencies.
With regard to drugs, supplies and biologicals used for patients who do not have health insurance cards: Health facilities may only collect patients' copayments which equal to the buying prices according to regulations of law on procurement and less than or equal to the prices given by social insurance agencies.
For drugs, supplies and biologicals purchased for COVID-19 prevention and control covered by the state budget, which are not included in the list of covered health services: health facilities may only collect patients' copayments which equal to the buying prices according to regulations of law on procurement.
This Resolution comes into force from the date on which it is signed to the end of December 31, 2023.
