The document announces plan for organizing direct learning activities according to epidemic levels in urban/suburban districts in Ho Chi Minh city.
Accordingly, with regard to pre-school education, schools are allowed to receive children 100% in levels 1, 2 and 3 areas. For Levels 4 area, schools are suspended.
For primary education, it is allowable organizing 100% direct learning activities in level 1 area; for level 2 area, it is allowable organizing 100% direct learning activities for grade 1 and grade 2 and 50% direct learning activities for grade 3, grade 4 and grade 5; for level 3 area, it is allowable organizing 50% direct learning activities for grade 1 and grade 2 while grade 3, grade 2 and grade 5 apply online teaching; for level 4 area, it is required to apply online teaching to all grades.
For lower and upper secondary education, it is allowable providing no more than 30 periods per week in level 1 area; no more than 18 periods per week in level 2 area (for grade-6, grade-9 and grade-12 students, it is allowable providing no more than 24 periods per week); no more than 12 periods per week in level 3 area (for grade-6, grade-9 and grade-12 students, it is allowable providing no more than 18 periods per week); for level 4 area, it is required to apply online teaching to all grades.
