blue-check Deadlines for payment of excise tax on automobiles assembled domestically payable in June – September 2022 shall be extended

Telegraph No. 06/CD-TCT dated May 24th, 2022 of the General Department of Taxation regarding implementation of the extension of deadlines for payment of excise tax on automobiles produced or assembled domestically at the Decree No. 32/2022/ND-CP dated May 21st, 2022.

According to the regulations at Decree No. 32/2022/ND-CP, enterprises producing/assembling automobiles domestically shall be entitled to the extension of deadlines for payment of excise tax payable in 4 months, from June to September 2022. The deadlines shall be extended to November 20th, 2022.

Notably, the enterprises have to submit the Application for extension of deadline for payment of excise tax by November 20th, 2022 at the latest.
