This Circular promulgates the List of personal protective means which are provided for laborers who work occupations, jobs with dangerous and hazardous elements, replacing the old List issued together with Decision No. 68/2008/QĐ-BLĐTBXH.

Personal protective means are necessary tools and means that employers shall provide for their employees in order to protect their bodies from the impact of dangerous and hazardous elements.

Personal protective means include many types such as protective devices of head, eye, face, hands, legs; hearing protective devices; respiratory protective devices,...

Enterprises are compulsory to provide personal protective means for employees during their work in contact with one of the following dangerous and harmful elements:

1. Disadvantageous physical elements

2. Harmful chemicals, dusts

3. Harmful biological elements, disadvantageous working environment such as: Harmful bacteria, virus, insects, dung, water, sewage,…

4. Working with machinery, equipment, working tools, or in positions with high risks of occupational accidents as working in the height, in mines, working on water, …

This Circular takes effect on April 15, 2014.

Decision No. 1407/1997/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated November 14, 1997 on promulgating the Regulation on providing personal protective means for specific occupations, jobs of the National Reserve sector; Circular No. 10/1998/TT-LĐTBXH dated May 28, 1998 guiding the implementation of the regime on providing personal protective means; Decision No. 68/2008/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated December 29, 2008 issuing the List of personal protective means which are provided for laborers who work occupations, jobs with dangerous and hazardous elements and other documents are contrary to the provisions of this Circular cease to be effective on the effective date of this Circular

Effective notes
This Circular shall be expired from April 1st, 2023, replaced by Circular No. 25/2022/TT-BLDTBXH dated November 30th, 2022.
