blue-check New List of banned and permitted narcotics

Decree No. 57/2022/ND-CP dated August 25th, 2022 of the Government on lists of narcotics and precursors

This Decree promulgates these new Lists:

- List I: Narcotic substances banned from healthcare and life;

- Narcotic substances permitted for limited use in analysis, testing, scientific research, criminal investigation or healthcare;

- List III: Narcotic substances permitted for use in analysis, testing, scientific research, criminal investigation, healthcare and veterinary medicine;

- List IV: Precursors (List IVA: Essential precursors involved in the structure of narcotics; IVB: precursors which are chemicals, solvents, catalysts used in the production of narcotics).

The details are provided at the attached Appendixes

This Decree takes effect from August 25th, 2022.

To replace Decree No. 73/2018/ND-CPstatus1 dated May 15th, 2018 and Decree No. 60/2020/ND-CPstatus1 dated May 29th, 2020.
