This Decision amends, supplements to Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg regarding implementation of some policies on support for employees and employers in difficulty due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021.
Accordingly, the policy on suspension of contributions to the retirement and survivorship fund is loosened in terms of the condition on the rate of downsizing employees at enterprises, from 15% to 10%.
Many cases in which employees subject to suspension of the employment contract, unpaid leave, furlough, etc. due to the Covid-19 pandemic shall be entitled to access the State’s support, such as:
- Any employee who is subject to suspension of the employment contract, unpaid leave, furlough, etc. because he/she has to undergo Covid-19 treatment, staying in quarantine;
- Any employee who is subject to suspension of the employment contract, unpaid leave, furlough, etc. because the company’s head office, branch, representative office or production and business location is located in the area where anti-covid measures are being implemented according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg; or
- The company is subject to prohibition/suspension/restrictions/conditions according to the Government’s Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP; or
-The company’s production and working activities are reorganized in order to prevent and control the Covid;
Regarding the application for support for employee subject to suspension of the employment contract, the written agreement on suspension of employment contract may be replaced by the agreement in other forms such as by phone, text message, email, etc.
This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.
