Circular No. 44/2021/TT-BTC dated June 18th, 2021 of the Ministry of Finance on sprescribing tap water price range, pricing principles and methods

This Circular provides for the tap water price range; principles and methods for calculation of prices of tap water, applicable from August 5th, 2021.

Accordingly, tap water price range at this Circular is not changed in comparison with the earlier regulations. To be specific: from VND 2,000 – VND 11,000/ m3 (rural areas) and from VND 3,000 – VDD 18,000/ m3 (cities)

Method for calculation of total production and trading cost of tap water (including calculation of total production and trading cost of tap water, volume of commercial water, the production cost per 1 m3 of tap water, profit limits, etc.) is regulated at Chapter 2.

In which, the maximum profit per 01m3 of commercial water is 1,300 VND/m3. For suppliers that supply water in both city and rural area, the maximum profit is 1,500 VND/m3.

This Circular takes effect from August 5th, 2021.

To replace Circular No. 88/2012/TT-BTC dated May 28th, 2012 and Joint Circular No. 75/2012/TTLT-BTC-BXD-BNNPTNT dated May 15th, 2012.
