Circular No. 10/2022/TT-BKHCN dated July 28th, 2022 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on amending, supplementing to a number of articles of Circular No. 28/2013/TT-BKHCN dated December 17th, 2013 of the Minister of Science and Technology on state inspection of measurement

This Circular abrogates chapter II of Circular No. 28/2013/TT-BKHCN regarding quality inspection in import of group-2 measuring instruments, pre-packaged goods in its entirety.

Accordingly, from September 12th, 2022, group-2 measuring instruments, pre-packaged goods are no longer subject to the quality inspection at the importation stage; they are only subject to the quality inspection in sale in the market and in use.

Enterprises that carry out procedures for customs clearance for measuring instruments, pre-packaged goods shall not have to present the inspection result of quality eligibility as previously.

This Circular takes effect from September 12th, 2022.
