Official letter No. 474/KCB-QLHN dated April 24th, 2023 of the Ministry of Health regarding enhancing propaganda about harmfulness of e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products, shisha

According to recommendations of the Ministry of Health, now it is not allowable to import and sell e-cigarettes (Electronic Nicotine Delivery - ENDs), Heated Tobacco Product – HTPs in Vietnam because they potentially poison users. Therefore the Ministry of Health requests agencies, working offices, schools to timely adopt regulations on ban on using these products by civil servants, public employees, and employees, especially students.

Acts of purchase, sale, use of e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products shall be strictly handled upon detecting.
