Circular No. 59/2023/TT-BTC dated August 30th, 2023 of the Minister of Finance on prescribing fees in medical sector, and the collection, transfer and management thereof

This Circular provides for new schedule of fees in medical sector, including: fees for processing of applications for licenses for import/export of insecticidal and germicidal preparations; fees for processing of applications for registration, import/export license for medical devices and fees for appraisal of fulfillment of eligibility requirements for practicing and doing business in the medical sector.

Accordingly, in comparison with the old schedule, the new one increases fee for processing of applications for new registration numbers for class-C or class-D medical devices from VND 5 million to VND 6 million/application.

Fees for processing of applications for issuance, re-issuance or modification of medical practice certificates; re-issuance of medical practice certificates after revocation, etc. shall be increased from VND 360,000/application to VND 430,000/application.

Other fees are remained unchanged.

This Circular takes effect from October 16th, 2023.

To replace Circular No. 278/2016/TT-BTC dated November 14th, 2016 and Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BTC dated February 20th, 2020.
