Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT dated January 10th, 2022 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on detailing a number of articles of Law on Environmental Protection

This Circular provides guidelines for implementation of 2020 Law on Environmental Protection and Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP relating to environmental protection contents; forms and procedures for appraisal of environmental impact assessment report, etc.

In addition, this Circular also amends, supplements to some provisions of Circular No. 76/2017/TT-BTNMT on assessment of the carrying capacity for wastewater receiving and carrying of water sources of rivers and lakes.

This Circular takes effect from January 10th, 2022 and replaces:

- Circular No. 19/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 23/4/2015;

- Circular No. 22/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 28/5/2015;

- Circular No. 35/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 30/6/2015;

- Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 30/9/2015;

- Circular No. 43/2015/TT-BTNMT dated 29/9/2015;

- Circular No. 19/2016/TT-BTNMT dated 24/8/2016;

- Circular No. 31/2016/TT-BTNMT dated 14/10/2016;

- Circular No. 34/2017/TT-BTNMT dated 04/10/2017;

- Circular No. 25/2019/TT-BTNMT dated 31/12/2019;

- Section 2.2.1 of QCVN 36:2010/BTNMT promulgated together with Circular No. 42/2010/TT-BTNMT dated December 29th, 2010.
