blue-check Ho Chi Minh city suspends operation of impromptu markets to control COVID-19

To promptly control COVID-19 and return to normal life, Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee requests to enhance these measures:

- Suspend all non-essential services

- Suspend operation of impromptu markets. Traditional markets shall be also have to suspend if failing to comply with COVID-19 prevention and control requirements

- Do not form groups of more than 03 people in public places

- The people are requested to go out only where strictly necessary such as for buying food or medicines or emergency aid, working in factories

- Place areas at very high risk and high risk under quarantine to keep the situation under control

- Temporarily stop receiving documents from people and enterprises directly.

- Suspend road and inland waterway public transit, minimize people’s movements.
