According to announcement of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans - Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) officially comes into force for Chile on February 21st, 2023. However, because the Decree and the Special Preferential Import Tariff of Vietnam for implementation of the CPTPP with regard to goods imported from Chile have yet to be promulgated, the inspection of proofs of origin of Chile shall be temporarily performed according to the regulations at Circular No. 62/2019/TT-BTC and Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BCTstatus2 .

Regarding form of proof of origin: Chile announced that it does not apply form of C/O issued by the authorities according to the regulations at clause 5 of Annex 3A of the CPTPP. Instead, Chile applies the form of proof of origin issued by exporters according to the regulations at Chapter 3 of the Agreement, domestically legalized in Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BCTstatus2 and Circular No. 62/2019/TT-BTC.
