Circular No. 33/2022/TT-BGTVT dated December 12th, 2022 of the Ministry of Transport on amendments to Circular No. 39/2019/TT-BGTVT dated October 15, 2019 of the Minister of Transport prescribing responsibilities of owners, crew members, operators, holding of vessel crew member posts and minimum safe manning aboard inland waterway vessels

This Circular is to amend, supplement to regulations pertaining to responsibilities of owners of inland waterway vessels; responsibilities of masters, master’s mates, chief engineers aboard inland waterway vessels.

Notably, according to the amendments at clause 1 Article 1, apart from crew directories and vessel logbooks, owners of inland waterway vessels also have to create the journey logbook.

Forms used for creating journey logbook and technical logbook are provided at Appendix II enclosed with this Circular.

This Circular takes effect from February 1st, 2023.
