Fine levels provided in this Decree shall be increased in compare with current fine levels and especially highly increasing for the following violations:
- Incorrectly declaring name, quantity, weight and value of goods exported with the fine from VND 20 million to VND 40 million (previous level was just from 2 to 10 million)
Failing to control decision, the fine level for tax inspectors from VND 10 to VND 20 million (previous level was just VND 500,000 to VND 3 million)
- Falsifying customs documents with the fine from VND 20 to VND 60 million (previous level was just VND 10 to VND 20 million)
In addition, the Decree also supplements fine levels for some acts relating to for electronic customs declaration procedures as:
- Using electronic customs declaration software without appropriate certification of customs with the fine from VND 4 to 10 million
- Using digital signature of other to declare electronic customs with fine from VND 20 to VND 60 million
This Decree takes effect from the date of December 15, 2013. Annulling the Decree No. 97/2007/ND-CP dated June 7, 2007 and Decree No. 18/2009/ND-CP dated February 18, 2009.
