Dispatch No. 5517/NHNN-TT dated July 30th, 2021 of the State Bank regarding applying service fee exemption and reduction policies

To share difficulties with clients affected by Covid-19, the State Bank of Vietnam requests banks, foreign banks’ branches to reduce fees for ATM, POS transactions, interbank transfer transactions equaling to the reduced rates performed by the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS).

Accordingly, from August 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021, to reduce at least 50% of fees for ATM, POS transactions processed through NAPAS and reduce at least 75% of fees for interbank transfer transactions. It is encouraged to reduce fees at the rates greater than those of NAPAS.
