Resolution No. 03/2021/UBTVQH15 dated September 24th, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on promulgating policy on provision of support for employees and employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic using the unemployment insurance Fund

Under this Resolution, the National Assembly accepted to reduce the unemployment insurance payment rate of enterprises from 1% of their wage funds to 0% for a duration of 12 months (October 1st, 2021 - September 30th, 2022). Beneficiaries are enterprises participating in unemployment insurance before October 1st, 2021.

In addition, the National Assembly also accepted to use about 30 trillion VND from the unemployment insurance Fund remained as of the end of 2020 to support employees that are participating in unemployment insurance as of September 30th, 2021 or have stopped paying unemployment insurance due to the termination of their labour contracts or working contracts between January 1st, 2020 and September 30th, 2021 and have unemployment insurance premium payment period reserved. The support will be delivered from October 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.

This Resolution takes effect from the date of its signing.
