Circular No. 01/2022/TT-BKHCN dated February 16th, 2022 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on amending, supplementing to a number of articles of Circular No. 07/2018/TT-BKHCN dated June 6th, 2018 and Circular No. 08/2019/TT-BKHCN dated September 25th, 2019 of the Minister of Science and Technology

This Circular supplements to clause 3 Article 4 of Circular No. 07/2018/TT-BKHCN to allow extending the period of circulation on the market for up to 18 months with regard to microwave ovens (including combination microwave ovens) and electric stoves (including electromagnetic stoves) that had been produced, traded or imported before July 1st, 2021.

In addition, with regard to LED lighting products, this Circular postpones the compulsory date of satisfaction of all technical requirements under QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN until January 1st, 2023 instead of June 1st, 2021 under the earlier regulations.

Particularly, with regard to LED lighting products regulated at the Appendix of QCVN 19:2019/BKHCN that had been produced, imported before the roadmap regulated at clause 2 Article 4 of Circular No. 08/2019/TT-BKHCN (before January 1st, 2023) shall be further circulated on the market until December 31st, 2023.

This Circular takes effect as of April 1st, 2022.
