Relating to the use of type of Covid-19 vaccine for the second dose, the Ministry of Health recommends as follows:

- People who have got the first dose of any vaccine should get the second dose of the same vaccine.

- In case of limited vaccine supply, it is possible to combine the first dose of Pfizer vaccine or Astrazeneca vaccine with the second dose of Moderna vaccine.

In which, the interval between the first dose and the second dose of Pfizer vaccine shall comply with the guideline of the producer and the interval between the first dose and second dose of Astrazeneca vaccine shall comply with the Official Dispatch No. 7820/BYT-DP dated September 20, 2021 of the Ministry of Health.
