Official letter No. 3319/BCT-CN dated June 9th, 2021 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding taking the initiative in developing measures to stabilize industrial production in the context of risk of Covid-19 outbreak

Because the Covid-19 pandemic still develops complicatedly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requests the People's Committees of provinces, centrally-affiliated cites do direct local Departments of Industry and Trade and related branches, sectors to urge enterprises in industrial parks, economic zones, etc. to strictly comply with guidelines for Covid-19 prevention and control at Decision No. 2194/QD-BCDQG dated May 27th, 2020.

At the same time, to deploy these measures:

- Take initiative in elaborating scenarios to respond to outbreaks to ensure the circulation of essential goods, input materials serving production activities

- Zone production, revise production shifts, distance production lines to ensure timely zoning upon detecting Covid-19 case

- Urge workers in industrial parks, plants, factories, etc. to make mandatory medical declarations and minimize outside contact

- Proactively propose to the authorities to approve the vaccination or to allow buying vaccines for workers from the welfare fund of enterprises.
