According to opinions of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in case a proof of origin issued by an exporter of the EU in accordance with the regulations at Circular No. 11/2020/TT-BCTstatus2 , the difference between HS code declared on the proof of origin and that searched on the REX system does not affect the validly of the proof of origin.

However, only goods having HS codes declared on the Text of origin declaration are eligible for special preferential tariff rates.
