Official letter No. 3106/TCHQ-GSQL dated June 21st, 2021 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs regarding information about quantity of goods on C/O form AJ

According to the specimen of C/O form AJ promulgated at Annex 8 of Decision No. 44/2008/QD-BCT, information about “quantity” is only required at Box 7. At Box 5, this information shall be represented where it is appropriate.

Accordingly, the General Department of Vietnam Customs assumes that in case at Box 7 on C/O form AJ is fully presented information about “quantity”, it may be either presented at Box 5 or not. The absence of “quantity” at Box 5 does not affect the C/O's validity.
