This Decision provides for new set of criteria for evaluation of safety and prevention against COVID-19 at schools, applicable from October 15th, 2021.

Under this new set of criteria, schools have to set up COVID-19 safety teams and teachers, staff working at the schools must receive at least 1 dose for vaccines.

There are total 10 criteria for evaluation of safety and prevention against covid-19. Schools that meet 8-9 criteria shall be evaluated high level of safety or meet 6-7 criteria shall be evaluated medium level of safety and shall be permitted to provide teaching activities

However, schools that meet less than 6 criteria shall be evaluated low level of safety and are not permitted to provide teaching activities until they remedy the failed criteria so as to meet at least 6 criteria.

This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing and replaces Decision No. 1371/QD-BCD dated April 23rd, 2020.
