Circular No. 74/2021/TT-BTC dated August 27th, 2021 of the Ministry of Finance on providing amendments to the Circular No. 261/2016/TT-BTC dated November 14, 2016 of the Minister of Finance prescribing maritime fees and charges, and schedule of maritime fees and charges

This Circular amends, supplements to the following types of fees and charges:

- Fees and charges imposed on vessels operating on routes of waterway transport from mainland to islands

- Fees imposed on tankers transshipping oil at Van Phong - Khanh Hoa Bay

- Fees and charges imposed vessels carrying export, import or transshipment containers when entering or leaving ports located along Cai Mep - Thi Vai river,

- Tonnage fees, maritime safety assurance fees, anchoring or berthing fees;

Notably, according to the new regulations, vessels shall be entitled to exemptions from tonnage fees, maritime safety assurance fees, anchoring or berthing fees when they wait tides, wait for health quarantine to serve the prevention and control of epidemics. This regulation is applied from August 27th, 2021

This Circular takes effect from October 12th, 2021.

To abrogate point b clause 2, clause 4, clause 5, point a clause 6, clause 7, point b clause 8 Article1 of Circular No. 90/2019/TT-BTC dated December 31st, 2019.
