In order to rapidly solve problems and enable agencies and units to procure and bid drugs and medical equipment, the Government requested Ministries to promptly amend these regulations:

- Amendments to Law on Pharmacy for the purpose of simplification in administrative procedures related to issuance, renewal and adjustment of Marketing Authorizations of drugs according to the plans approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1661/QD-TTg dated October 4, 2021;

- Amendments to Decree No. 146/2018/ND-CP pertaining to health insurance, Decree No. 54/2017/ND-CPstatus2 providing detail regulations and guidance on implementing of the Law on Pharmacy, Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP regarding business investment requirements in the health sector; Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP on management of medical equipment;

Amendments to Circular No. 19/2021/TT-BYT prescribing forms of documents and reports on medical equipment; Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BYT on bidding for medical equipment and Circular No. 15/2019/TT-BYTstatus2 prescribing bidding for drugs;

Section 3 and section 4 of this Resolution also regulates payment for healthcare costs covered by health insurance in 2021 and payment of healthcare costs of machine-based technical services provided by successful bidders for material and chemical contracts according to results of the bidding.

This Resolution takes effect from the date of its signing.
