Circular No. 03/2021/TT-BNNPTNT dated June 22nd, 2021 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on amendments to some Articles of the Circular No. 16/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 28, 2013 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on protection of plant variety rights

This Circular amends regulations pertaining to issuance of plant variety protection certificate and transfer of plant variety rights, to be specific:

- Criteria for registration for issuance of plant variety protection certificate

- Dossier components, how to apply and time limit for settlement of the dossier

- Template of registration of the contract for transfer of plant variety rights

- Fees and charges for the protection of plant variety rights

This Circular comes into force from August 6th, 2021 and replaces Circular No. 41/2009/TT-BNNPTNT dated July 9th, 2009.

Articles 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 and Annexes 2, 10 and 17 promulgated together with Circular No. 16/2013/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 28th, 2013 shall be annulled.
